H 33 was attached to the 5th Flotilla at Gosport throught the 1920s and 1930s then the Training Flotilla at Rothesay, Isle of Bute, in the Firth of Clyde.  In 1941 she was used for patrols around Brest, after which she resumed a training role at Rothesay for a further three years until decommissioned on 19-05-1944.  In October 1944 she arrived at the West of Scotland Shipbreaking Company in Troon, South Ayrshire, for breaking up.
